A lighted candle reminds us of Christ, light of the world. Light itself also speaks to us of knowledge (illumination) and sacrifice (the flame consumes the candle).
The Shrine maintains lighted candles and invites you to entrust your prayer to one or more of them. We display your prayer or intention in front of a candle in the Shrine of St. Jude for the number of days you request. Once again, we welcome your free-will offering to help offset the costs of maintaining the Shrine and this service.
If you cannot afford a free-will offering, we invite you to complete the prayer request form. We welcome all prayer requests.
