Prayer: the way we communicate and express our love to God. It is the way we thank God, glorify God, ask for God’s forgiveness, petition God for grace, and listen to God as well.
As Catholic Christians we worship God and God alone; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also pray with and for each other. This is at the heart of our prayer ministries at The Dominican Shrine of St. Jude. The three ways we can help you are:
- You can ask for us to pray for you. The Friends of St. Jude, the Dominican Friars of the Central Provence, and our Holy brothers and sister in heaven–Saints like our Patron St. Jude–are to pray for each other constantly. This is our PrayerNet.
- You can let us help you with your devotional prayers with St. Jude. Please see our section on this site dedicated to Devotions and Novenas.
- You can pray for others. When we are in need and faced with difficult situations, there nothing more frightening than feeling utterly alone. In praying for others we not only help lessen their burdens but learn to love better. Please add these intentions to your prayers. I am sure you noticed the prayer request on our homepage. These are some of the requests we receive. This is also part of PrayerNet.
